- In 2008, won a trial for breach of contract on behalf of three physicians against a former partner & medical practice and obtained a high seven figure judgment, including sanctions; obtained a temporary restraining order in federal court in a trade secret case against the former, highest executive on behalf of an aviation business; obtained a TRO and permanent injunction against the former employer of a publicly traded bank in a trade secret case
- In 2007, obtained a permanent injunction in a trade secret case against a former executive on behalf of a national franchisor; also, won a confidential settlement in an arbitration claim filed by a former senior executive against his former employer, a major national retailer
- In 2006, won a jury trial on a breach of contract claim for a medical group against two of its former physicians/partners
- In 2005, won a breach of contract/negligent misrepresentation case after a three-week jury trial in federal court concerning high speed packaging equipment; also, won a civil conspiracy/fraud/breach, of contract case, including punitive damages, after a one-week jury trial
- In 2004, won a non-compete case on behalf of a publicly traded, national staffing company against a former top
salesperson, obtaining an injunction and monetary damages
- In 2003, won a non-compete/unfair competition case on behalf of a national specialty store chain against a
national department store chain; also, obtained a directed verdict at the close of plaintiff's case on a claim of
breach of warranty for a major automobile manufacturer
- In 2002, was lead trial counsel on three unrelated cases resulting in settlements to our clients totaling $6.2 million
- In 2000, was lead trial counsel for the minority owner of a casino in a case against a publicly
traded casino company for breach of contract and fiduciary duties and fraud that settled after two weeks of trial for over $8 million
- Has tried plaintiff and defense cases in the state courts of Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa and the federal courts of Missouri
- Lead trial counsel in more than 100 non-compete/trade secret cases in state and federal courts involving numerous industries
