Armstrong Teasdale Re-elects Michael Chivell as Managing Partner

Armstrong Teasdale LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s equity partners have re-elected Michael A. Chivell to his second three-year term as managing partner. Chivell, an experienced corporate finance and real estate attorney, has been managing partner of Armstrong Teasdale since 2007.

Earlier this year, he was elected president of The United States Law Firm Group® (USLFG®), a network of 18 independent firms with more than 5,900 lawyers operating globally.

Chivell is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in real estate law; Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers and Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in corporate mergers and acquisitions. He received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa School Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Illinois Wesleyan University.

The equity partners also re-elected Laurence Tucker, a litigation partner who manages Armstrong Teasdale’s Kansas City office, to a three-year term on the executive committee, and elected Patrick W. Rasche, who chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, to a three-year term on the compensation committee.
