The firm is assisting NorthPark Partners ESI, LLC, in the development of a 320,000 square foot technology, research and office park adjacent to the campus of the University of Missouri -- St. Louis, which will serve as the new national headquarters for Express Scripts, Inc. The $63 million development project will involve the use of Chapter 100 Industrial Revenue Bonds, Chapter 353 tax abatement and the formation of a transportation development district to finance and construct a new arterial road to connect the University to Hanley Road. The NorthPark/Express Scripts development is a true multi-jurisdictional effort: the project involves a coordinated effort with St. Louis County, the City of Normandy, the City of Cool Valley, the Village of Bellerive, and the Curators of the University of Missouri. The project is expected to result in the creation of more than 1,500 new jobs over the next several years.
