A member of the Litigation practice group, Anna Selby advises and defends health care providers in high profile matters involving complex allegations and multimillion dollar claims. Her Health Law Certificate gives her added perspective in health care business operations, regulations, applicable laws and creation of policies and procedures.

When handling medical malpractice claims, Anna recognizes the unique risks health care providers face and that their reputations are at stake. She represents physicians, nurses, hospitals and physician groups in matters concerning birth trauma, failure to diagnose or treat, serious personal injury or wrongful death.

Anna consults preventatively to help guard against the threat of suits. She advises on how to avoid agency liability through review of and revisions to consent forms. She also counsels in the development of protocols and guidelines for responding to agency allegations and policies regarding day-to-day operations.

Background

While earning her law degree, Anna served as a law clerk for a local medical malpractice boutique where she assisted in the representation of several hospitals and doctors in malpractice matters. She received a Health Law Certificate from Saint Louis University School of Law.
