Banking and Financial Services

The Financial Services practice group is designed to provide financial institutions and borrowers with personalized service to meet each client’s specific needs.

Financial services lawyers have represented lenders and borrowers in literally thousands of financing and investment transactions, from documentation to closing, with the quality and value that sophisticated clients have come to expect. Lawyers routinely represent financial institutions, individuals and legal entities in single bank or syndicated complex financing transactions such as construction loans, permanent loans, revolving lines of credit, letters of credit, and other forms of financing secured by various forms of real and personal property.

In addition to our extensive experience in loans and investment transactions, lawyers have extensive experience in representing clients before the Federal Reserve, the Comptroller of the Currency, the FDIC, the Office of Thrift Supervision, the Missouri Division of Finance, the Illinois Office of Banks and Real Estate, Bureau of Banks and Trust Companies, the Kansas State Banking Commission, and other state banking and financial regulatory authorities.
