Barbara A. Brinkman, the former Vice President of Marketing for Macy’s Midwest Region, has joined Armstrong Teasdale LLP as the firm’s Director of Client Relations.
In this role, Brinkman is responsible for the firm’s Client Feedback and Client Team programs aimed at ensuring the highest level of client service and superior value. The Client Feedback Program solicits client input, provides response to any issues and acts to deliver complete client satisfaction. The Client Team Program provides a structure for lawyers and staff to fully meet the expectations of their clients for legal work and service.
Brinkman has over 25 years of business background with a focus on brand development and corporate communications. She has extensive experience in financial planning and budgeting, database and relationship management, loyalty programs and development. At Macy’s, she spearheaded changes in marketing to improve the return on investment by 96 percent. She has a thorough knowledge of developing and executing a branding and communication strategy both internally and externally. Brinkman also specializes in business process improvement using technology and team collaboration. In addition, she has direct experience navigating through mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Brinkman served as Chief Executive Officer of Innovate St. Louis, an organization providing resources and mentoring to innovative entrepreneurs. Before that, she held the role of VP of Marketing for Macy’s Midwest in St. Louis.
Brinkman received her B.A. in Fine Art from Washington University and recently graduated from the university’s Executive M.B.A. program.
