Like the factory worker in this anecdote, public finance paralegals hold a small, usually unnoticed, but not insignificant place in the creation of a complex product for the benefit of the public.
Instead of airplanes, however, paralegals and other members of public finance teams “build” city halls, municipal water parks and recreational centers as well as schools and universities, libraries, and public
convention centers and stadiums. They also build airports and seaports, museums, roads and highways, police and fire stations, courthouses and prisons, hospitals and medical centers, and other public facilities.
