Mr. Nelson is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group in the firm’s Kansas City office. He is admitted to state and federal courts in Missouri, the Supreme Court in Kansas and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Nelson practices primarily in the areas of business, banking and real estate law. In that connection, Mr. Nelson has been involved in bank and institutional financing and securitization of real estate loans, equipment and receivable loans, letters of credit, lines of credit, bankruptcy, workouts and financing throughout the United States and also on international transactions. This includes substantial work on title and title insurance coverage. In addition, Mr. Nelson has served on a number of bank boards and is familiar with the numerous regulatory agencies and regulations of both state and national banks.
