Immediate past co-chair of the Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation practice group, Frank Gundlach has tried more than 100 cases to conclusion and argued numerous appeals involving high-profile clients in a broad range of matters. He focuses much of his practice on product liability and commercial litigation.

Recently, Frank was appointed by Chief Judge Carol Jackson of the Eastern District of Missouri to the committee for the nomination of a Magistrate, and by Chief Judge David Herndon of the Southern District of Illinois to the committee to review and recommend changes to its local rules.

Background

Frank began his legal career working for a Congressman from Illinois while being processed for a position with the U.S. Department of Justice. As a trial attorney in the tax division of the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., he tried cases around the country.

Early in his career, Frank was elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honorary association limited to one percent of the lawyers in the state of residence of the member and is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice, and the ethics of the profession. Since his election, he has since been active in various roles at the local, regional, and national levels including serving as the Regent for six states and two Canadian Provinces.
