Larry Tucker, managing attorney of the firm’s Kansas City, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas offices serves as lead trial counsel in the defense of civil lawsuits. A powerful and experienced advocate in the courtroom, he has tried over 60 jury trials in state and federal courts and argued appeals in federal and state courts including the Missouri and Kansas Supreme Courts and the Fifth, Eighth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Larry also acts as an arbitrator and mediator in commercial and business disputes.
Business Litigation. Larry represents individuals and organizations in a variety of business and contractual disputes. He often counsels clients in controversies arising out of claims of the infringement of intellectual property rights, violations of non-compete and non-disclosure agreements and the alleged wrongful termination of employment.
Insurance. For insurers, Larry handles complex coverage and bad faith actions. On behalf of reinsurers, he resolves controversies arising out of claims made by insurers. He also defends insureds in actions involving products liability claims, advertising injury claims and general liability claims.
Non-profit Companies. Larry acts as general counsel to an organ procurement organization serving western Missouri and all of the state of Kansas. He represents other organ procurement organizations in administrative appeals arising out of Medicare cost report audits. As Chancellor for the Missouri Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, Larry provides legal advice to the conference and the Bishop serving the state of Missouri.
