Lucas Wenthe works closely with inventors, in-house counsel and marketing teams during all phases of product design and development to protect intellectual property.

A major portion of his practice involves preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications and counseling clients on patent infringement issues. Lucas also assists clients in the preparation of non-infringement and validity opinions, as well as patentability, due diligence and patent landscape analyses.

To protect valuable intellectual property, Lucas provides client-tailored patent enforcement strategies including performing infringement analysis, initiating licensing campaigns, preparing cease and desist letters and negotiating settlement agreements.

He has also been successful in growing clients' customer bases by locating and working with European and Asian distribution channels to expand the geographic footprint of clients' products.
