Lynn Hursh serves as lead trial counsel in the defense of product manufacturers, service providers and energy suppliers in the gas industry. These matters primarily involve fires and explosions related to natural gas issues. Lynn is also a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Involved from the very beginning of an event, including carbon monoxide incidents, Lynn strategically addresses the unexpected and unique challenges posed by fire and explosion cases. He is knowledgeable in formalized fire investigation procedures, requirements for admissibility of expert testimony under Daubert and Frye/Mack and evidence spoliation prevention and accident scene preservation.

When defending fire and explosion cases, Lynn often deals with insurance companies. Working with insurers and insureds, he resolves complex coverage issues arising from third-party claims or intercompany disputes. These disputes comprise a significant amount of his practice.
