Manita Rawat is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Services practice group in the Las Vegas office. Her practice focuses on patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution. Manita also has experience in intellectual property litigation and can counsel clients in pre-litigation enforcement of rights by performing infringement analysis, providing enforcement strategies, preparing cease and desist letters, and negotiating settlement agreements.
Background
Manita previously practiced in other Nevada law firms. Prior to attending law school, she worked for the Department of Toxic Substances Control, California Environmental Protection Agency where she developed standards and upper tolerance limits for harmful toxins on land sites and analyzed technical issues in legislative bills related to environmental compliance. Manita also spent time as a researcher for the biochemistry department at the University of Nevada School of Medicine where she worked to advance footprinting methods to study polysaccharide-protein interactions.
