Timmi Paulson practices transactional law with a focus on real estate, finance and future energy.
She advises developers, buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants in the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of commercial and residential (single family, multi-family and condominium) real estate. Timmi is involved in many aspects of these transactions from drafting and negotiating documents such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, restrictive covenants, condominium declarations and easements, to analyzing complex title, survey, zoning and other due diligence issues. In connection with the development of property, Timmi also guides in matters such as rezoning and the formation, management and financing of special taxing districts.
When serving clients in the financial industry, Timmi’s real estate background translates well as she assists both lenders and borrowers in documenting, negotiating, and closing various commercial loan transactions. She also assists in loan workouts, foreclosures and managing distressed real estate.
In the future energy arena, Timmi counsels clients in compliance with applicable environmental (“green”) marketing and advertising laws.
