Biography
Amelia Brooks is a patent agent in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, she works collaboratively with attorneys to help clients achieve their objectives. Amelia assists in preparing patent applications and patent prosecution, including patentability and clearance searches, U.S. National (371) filings, office actions and information disclosure statements in various areas.
In protecting clients’ innovations, Amelia leverages her extensive technical background, which includes academic and research experience in aerospace propulsion, internal combustion engines, and energy technologies.

Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Amelia was a research assistant at a university laboratory, where she studied the aeromechanics of centrifugal compressors. In addition, she has held mechanical engineering and automotive internships, as well as gained field engineering experience in Uganda.
