March 18, 2019 Press Releases

Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces that three of the firm’s attorneys have been named among the 2019 Colorado Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars. Partners Kevin D. Evans and Charles W. Steese are recognized as Super Lawyers, while Associate Douglas N. Marsh is recognized as a Rising Star.

Super Lawyers is an annual list of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selection for Super Lawyers includes peer nominations, a blue-ribbon panel review process and independent research on candidates.

The Rising Stars list consists of the state’s top young attorneys. The selection process for Rising Stars is the same as Super Lawyers; however, Rising Star candidates must be 40 years old or younger, or have practiced for 10 years or less.

Evans is a nationally recognized civil and white-collar criminal defense trial attorney. He also handles internal corporate investigations arising out of actual or suspected wrongdoing, including False Claims Act and qui tam matters. Evans has represented various professional athletes and team owners, government entities, executives and Fortune 100 businesses in grand jury investigations and disputes in the U.S. and abroad. His experience also spans several practice areas and industries, including health care and life sciences, energy and utilities, securities and environmental law.

Marsh has litigated cases across the country at both the trial and appellate levels. His wide-ranging practice involves representing clients in diverse areas of the law such as telecommunications, bankruptcy, higher education and consumer protection. He primarily handles complex commercial disputes, often litigating cases distinguished for their intricate factual backgrounds, complicated legal bases and high stakes.
