Armstrong Teasdale Handles IP, IT for Manna Pro in Acquisition of Oxbow Animal Health
Armstrong Teasdale supported Manna Pro Products in its $135 million acquisition of Oxbow Animal Health, a 30-year-old wholesaler of small-animal wellness brands including premium whole foods, supplements, treats and supplies for rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, chinchillas and more.
Armstrong Teasdale led diligence on the intellectual property and information technology aspects of the acquisition, led by Partners Courtney Jackson and Saraann Parker, and Associate Gabriela Baeza-Stout.
Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Manna Pro is a manufacturer and marketer of pet care and nutrition products. This was the company’s fourth acquisition of 2021, and Manna Pro’s largest acquisition to-date. “It complements our diverse pet portfolio of wholesome products for animals small to large and shares our commitment to quality, innovation and overall advancement of pet health,” said John Howe, CEO of Manna Pro.
