Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Partners Michael Petrizzo and Julia V. Taylor to the firm’s Corporate Services practice group in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., respectively. They are among more than 210 lawyers and staff professionals who have joined Armstrong Teasdale in 2022 alone.

Petrizzo has deep experience counseling and providing strategic advice to public and private companies, private equity and venture capital firms, and high-net-worth individuals. He represents clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, corporate restructurings, and general corporate and commercial matters. Petrizzo performs complex commercial transactions across a broad range of industries, including financial services, health care, retail, construction, manufacturing and technology. He also serves as outside general counsel for early-stage and established enterprises.

Taylor focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance, and general corporate and commercial matters. She has extensive experience representing public and private companies, both foreign and domestic, from myriad industries, including, technology, cannabis, retail fashion, health care, professional services and private equity. Taylor has broad experience advising public and private companies on all phases of the purchase and sale of businesses and assets, and also acts as an outside general counsel to businesses. In addition, she has extensive experience representing both public and private issuers in equity and debt offerings.
