Daniel Lavian is an associate with broad experience in all aspects of commercial real estate.

Daniel concentrates his practice in the negotiation and documentation of joint venture agreements on behalf of both “money partners” and “operating partners,” co-participants, preferred equity investments, workouts of distressed properties and loan facilities and special situations.

Daniel has further experience handling financings on behalf of borrowers and lenders; debt restructuring and workouts; land acquisition and development; dispositions of commercial, industrial, hospitality and residential real estate; acquisition and disposition of multi-asset portfolios of loans and real properties; and leasing.


Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was an associate at a mid-Atlantic law firm. Prior to that, he worked as an associate at a real estate firm and held business side positions in real estate, gaining practical, hands-on experience in the business.
