Armstrong Teasdale and UHY Present: Tax Planning Under the Tax Cut and Jobs Act
7700 Forsyth Blvd., Suite 1800
St. Louis, Missouri 63105
The Tax Cut and Jobs Act is a real game changer for both businesses and individuals. The Act has altered the choice of entity landscape by reducing the corporate tax rate and repealing the alternative minimum tax (AMT). Rob Browning of Armstrong Teasdale will address these changes, including potential opportunities for significant tax savings, and discuss why it might make sense to form or convert your business to a C-corporation to take advantage of the new tax rate. In addition, Bob Bauer and Paul Truber of UHY will be sharing valuable strategies on the new 20 percent business deduction for pass-through entities, as well as international tax issues. Paul will focus on both Foreign Derived Intangible Income and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income, while Bob will review the steps you can take now to maximize your deductions for 2018 and beyond.
Presented by Armstrong Teasdale Of Counsel Robert Browning, and UHY Partners Bob Bauer and Paul Truber.
