The FLSA overtime rule doubling the salary threshold for exempt workers was set to take effect on Dec. 1, 2016. Following a wave of court actions, a federal district judge enjoined the rule change days before implementation. The fate of pending court actions, and the rule itself, have been in a state of limbo since the Trump administration took over Washington.
