Successful Five-Week Bench Trial for Pharma Company
Served as part of a trial team representing a major pharmaceutical company in a successful five-week-long bench Hatch-Waxman trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. After the trial, the Court held that all seven defendants had infringed our client’s patents, and that the Defendants failed to prove that the patents were invalid. The Court enjoined all of the defendants from selling copies of our client’s drug, which protected over $2 billion in sales. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed that Court’s holdings on appeal.
