Armstrong Teasdale Adds to Intellectual Property, Corporate Teams
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Counsel Teresa Arroyo and Associate Jenny Zhang to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group and Corporate Services practice group, respectively. They join a roster of more than 360 attorneys at Armstrong Teasdale internationally.
Arroyo is an independent contractor in Armstrong Teasdale’s Intellectual Property practice. She began her career as a systems engineer for a federal aviation contractor, and has more than 20 years of experience working for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as both a patent examiner and supervisory patent examiner. Arroyo also has prior experience in private practice that lends to her incredible depth of experience involving semiconductors, memory, circuits, printing, optics, materials engineering, computer architecture, communications, mechanical engineering, medical devices and design.
Arroyo spent eight years in private practice at various law firms in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. She also has a long career with the United States Army Reserves and has served a number of active duty tours.
Zhang is an attorney in the firm’s Corporate Services practice group in Denver, Colorado, where she focuses on employee benefits, executive compensation and tax law. She advises retirement, health and fringe benefit plan sponsors and administrators on plan design, plan administration and compliance with ERISA, ACA Code, HIPAA, MHPAEA, federal and state tax law, and regulations promulgated by the U.S. Departments of Labor, Treasury, and Health and Human Services.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Zhang was an associate at a regional law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
