Biography
A skilled estate-planning lawyer, Jaime Curry Welker works with clients to protect and manage their assets and wealth.
Jaime routinely drafts estate-planning documents including revocable and irrevocable trusts, qualified spousal trusts, gift trusts and special needs trusts. In addition, she routinely works on wills, powers of attorney and other advance directives. She is also experienced in tax matters including generation-skipping taxes, estate tax returns and gift tax returns.
Jaime also has experience handling guardianship matters in probate court, as well as estate and trust administration.
In addition to counseling clients in all manners of estate planning, she prepares various documents for closely held businesses, including formation and transfer documents, and provides counsel in the corporate buy/sell process, as well as in business succession planning.
Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Jaime was a lawyer at other St. Louis law firms and was a law clerk at one of the oldest firms in Beverly Hills, California. She also previously worked as a law clerk and wealth planning administrator at other St. Louis area firms.
