McPherson, Price, Weaver Named to Missouri Lawyers Weekly Power List for Appellate Law
Armstrong Teasdale Partners Jeffery T. McPherson, William Ray Price, Jr., and Thomas B. Weaver have been named to the Missouri Lawyers Weekly 2022 Power List for Appellate Law. They are among 30 attorneys throughout Missouri who are recognized for defending or opposing notable jury verdicts and helping to set important precedents that shape the law.
The publication’s editorial team made the selections based on review of published appellate opinions, interviews with attorneys and other state leaders, and archival research.
McPherson has represented clients in over 200 appeals of all kinds since 1995, including over 30 appeals in the Missouri Supreme Court and over 100 appeals in the Missouri Court of Appeals. He has presented more than 80 oral arguments in appeals before state and federal courts, including every Missouri appellate court.
A former Missouri Supreme Court judge, Price served the longest term of any judge on the court, including two terms as chief justice, when he joined the firm in 2012. He has tried a number of jury and nonjury trials, argued numerous appeals, and served as a mediator, arbitrator, and court appointed master in various civil and administrative cases.
Weaver leads the firm’s Appellate practice area and a fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. He has implemented sophisticated post-trial strategies that weave persuasive arguments with legal and policy reasoning in over 150 appeals.
Profiles of each attorney appear in a special supplement to the weekly, as well as online.
