Jesse Harper is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group that oversees patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret and related matters. A registered U.S. patent attorney, Jesse is also well-versed in other legal areas within the field of intellectual property.

A key part of Jesse’s practice involves preparing and prosecuting U.S and foreign patent applications. In this service, he guides clients through the patent application process with an emphasis on communication, responsiveness and accessibility.

Jesse's background in chemical engineering enables him to have a special understanding of the chemical and mechanical industries. Because of this, his practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting provisional and nonprovisional patent applications in technical disciplines such as power generation, aviation, composite manufacturing, chemical compositions and polymers. Moreover, Jesse regularly prepares and prosecutes patent applications for computer-implemented inventions.

In litigious situations, Jesse provides enforcement strategies and counsels clients in pre-litigation enforcement of rights by performing infringement and freedom-to-operate analyses.
