Kate Kerr Named Armstrong Teasdale’s Director of Professional Development and Inclusion
Armstrong Teasdale is proud to announce that Kathleen B. Kerr has been appointed director of professional development and inclusion. The firm recently created the role to help further and enhance our diversity and inclusion efforts in 2019 and beyond.
This position is designed to target career development, inclusion, learning and mentorship. Initial priorities include building a process that brings more clarity to career paths and advancement as well as a coordinated approach to development. A key priority will be to support our diversity and inclusion efforts through several focused initiatives around recruiting and internal programming.
Kerr also sees opportunities to collaborate with clients on these initiatives. “We can partner with our clients around inclusion initiatives, working together to make an impact in our local communities and the legal industry,” Kerr said.
She also looks forward to fostering conversations around opportunity, with a focus on open communication and individual well-being.

Kerr was previously director of recruiting and professional development at the firm. She has been instrumental in the creation and development of the AT Leadership Institute and building career development programs.
