A former field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Kyle McKenna is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group. He primarily focuses on traditional labor law, which includes handling personnel issues, labor disputes, union avoidance and collective bargaining.
His matters often involve appearing before regulatory bodies, including the NLRB and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to address and resolve conflicts on behalf of management, including unfair labor practices and charges of discrimination. He also handles elections, strikes and picketing, as well as reductions-in-force.

Prior to joining the firm, Kyle served as a field attorney for the NLRB, Subregion 26, in Memphis, Tennessee. His time with the NLRB provided him with a deep understanding of the investigation and prosecution of unfair labor practices. Kyle uses this knowledge to effectively represent clients before the NLRB and in handling their labor relations matters.
A unique aspect of Kyle's prior experience is his tenure working with Missouri and Illinois courts, including serving as a judicial law clerk for the Fifth District Appellate Court of the State of Illinois; judicial extern for the EEOC's St. Louis District Office; judicial extern for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois; and judicial intern for the Madison County Circuit Court, Third Judicial Circuit of the State of Illinois.
