Biography
Leandre’a Scott is a patent attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. She leverages her background in biology to guide clients in safeguarding their inventions. Leandre’a is skilled at conducting patent research; analyzing specifications, claims and related documents; identifying prior art and assessing patentability; drafting patent applications; and conducting interviews with inventors to gather necessary information for patent drafting. Her experience includes conducting patent prosecution, including responding to office actions, addressing rejections and crafting persuasive arguments to overcome them.
