Higher Education Live Webinar Series - The U.S. Department of Education’s Borrower Defense to Repayment Rules
The U.S. Department of Education is expected to release its final Borrower Defense to Repayment Rules before Nov. 1, 2016. If consistent with the draft, the new rules will create significant potential liability for all U.S. colleges and universities. The webinar will discuss the new rules of greatest concern, identify liability considerations and propose actions colleges and universities should take now in order to prepare for the July 1, 2017 effective date.
