Biography
Mike Xavier is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group, with experience in a wide variety of complex commercial and intellectual property matters.
He has represented a diverse range of clients, each with unique legal and business goals, from both claimant and defendant perspectives. His experience includes several appearances in multiple jurisdictions, in both state and federal court.
Mike has experience at all stages of the caseflow, including pre-suit investigation, initial pleadings, preliminary hearings, discovery, mediation, dispositive motions, witness preparation and appeal. He has advised clients as to several areas of the law, including general litigation, intellectual property, trade secrets, commercial litigation, employment, bankruptcy and real property.
In addition to representing clients in formal lawsuits, Mike has also advised clients in due diligence and other out-of-suit operations, with the goal of reducing risk while pursuing business goals. In this work, he draws on his litigation experience to advise clients as to how to mitigate legal exposure and potential litigation costs.

Background
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Michael was an associate in the Denver office of a national law firm. He also completed an internship with Colorado Legal Services and was the founder and national competition team coach of the Notre Dame Baseball Arbitration Tournament.
