Alarie have been named among Nevada Business’ 2020 Legal Elite. The annual list, now in its 13th year, highlights Nevada’s top attorneys as chosen by their peers.
Ashcraft is a skilled transactional, corporate and administrative law attorney whose practice encompasses complex commercial transactions and regulatory compliance matters. With more than 20 years of experience representing clients in highly regulated industries such as marijuana and hemp, gaming, liquor and transportation services, she advises businesses through all phases of operation – from startups, through financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, land use and licensing. Since 2013, Ashcraft has focused her practice on counseling marijuana and hemp businesses through the regulatory process and emerging legal issues. This includes all phases of the application and operation process.
Alarie is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group providing counsel in complex commercial and general litigation matters to individuals and businesses of all sizes. Her practice encompasses litigation in federal court and all levels of state court. She most often prosecutes and defends cases involving bad faith insurance and coverage litigation, employment and labor matters including wrongful discharge and violations of state and federal anti-discrimination laws, construction and lien rights, contract disputes, business tort claims, breach of fiduciary duties, banking and real property issues. Alarie’s practice also encompasses federal criminal defense work.
