Armstrong Teasdale announces that it was selected among the winners of the 13th Annual International M&A Awards. Hosted by M&A Advisor, the award program honors the leading international M&A transactions, companies and dealmakers. Armstrong Teasdale and client The Vitec Group plc (Vitec, now Videndum), among other parties, were selected from a pool of over 250 participating companies to receive the Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year ($10MM-$100MM) award.

Vitec is an international provider of premium branded hardware products and software solutions to the growing content creation market, broadcast and motion picture studios and photographers. The company is publicly listed in the U.K.

Armstrong Teasdale Partners David Magee and Crystal Howard, along with Associate Michelle Thom, supported Vitec in the $57 million purchase of all the stock of Savage Universal Corp. (Savage), a New York corporation, and all the membership interests of Superior Paper Specialties, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. Together, Vitec and Savage provide a complement of best-in-class products to broadcasters, film studios, production and rental companies, photographers, independent content creators, gamers and enterprises. The Armstrong Teasdale team provided comprehensive counsel on the transaction, including intellectual property and tax implications.
