Armstrong Teasdale Adds Attorneys in Philadelphia and Salt Lake City
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Ryan Aloysius Smith in Philadelphia and Trinity Jordan in Salt Lake City. They join a roster of more than 340 attorneys at Armstrong Teasdale throughout the U.S. and U.K.
Smith counsels clients on a variety of criminal and civil matters. A skilled legal writer, he has served as the primary author on a variety of motions, briefs and petitions, including successful suppression motions, motions to dismiss, habeas corpus petitions, bail motions, evidentiary motions and motions for return of property. Smith also has experience drafting and editing petitions for relief under the Post-Conviction Relief Act, and has represented clients at preliminary arraignments, bail hearings, preliminary hearings and juvenile detention hearings.
Jordan is an experienced trial lawyer focusing his practice in the areas of federal criminal defense, entertainment law, nonprofit and corporate litigation. A former Assistant United States Attorney in Miami, Florida, he was assigned to the major crimes unit and has led investigations with every major federal investigative unit. Most notably, Jordan led the U.S. Department of State’s largest domestic investigation and federal indictment in 2017‐2018, which generated significant media attention and continues to be featured by major international broadcast networks. In the entertainment industry, he has worked with several independent movie producers, writers and artists. He has also represented corporations and individuals in government investigations.
