Armstrong Teasdale Adds Partners in Philadelphia, New York City
Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces the addition of two partners: Jason A. Mandel joins the firm’s Philadelphia office and Peter R. Massa joins the New York City office. They complement more than 520 attorneys and staff firmwide.
Mandel is a skilled partner with more than 20 years of diverse transactional experience. He will be responsible for building the firm’s transactional presence in Philadelphia, further strengthening the capabilities of Armstrong Teasdale’s existing skillset throughout the country. In his transactional practice, Jason focuses on the areas of commercial real estate, financial services, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, venture formation, construction and general business representation. He routinely represents buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, lenders, borrowers, sponsors and developers in all aspects of sophisticated and complex commercial transactions. His commercial real estate practice involves a broad range of real estate asset classes, including commercial office buildings, hotels, multi-family properties, telecom/colocation facilities, mixed-use, and other commercial and retail spaces. Mandel’s practice has a significant focus on the representation of borrowers and lenders in a variety of commercial finance transactions of all shapes and sizes, including real estate and construction financing, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, and other forms of debt and equity financing.
Massa is a seasoned attorney with significant experience counseling condominium and cooperative board clients on a range of sophisticated issues including contract negotiations, corporate governance, collections and quality of life. He joins more than a dozen esteemed attorneys with nearly 300 years of combined wide-ranging experience in resolving complex challenges related to cooperative and condominium law. For new buildings, Massa seamlessly manages the transition from developer to unit owner control. He acts as general counsel for and represents sellers, purchasers and commercial lenders in various real estate transactions. He also has experience negotiating commercial leases, construction and AIA contracts, license agreements and other agreements for owners and tenants. Outside of his real estate practice, Massa also represents banks in commercial lending transactions.
In January, the firm added 10 attorneys and staff, including environmental Partner Tim Bergère in Philadelphia.
