Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States, proudly announces the addition of two partners: Jason A. Mandel joins the firm’s Philadelphia office and Peter R. Massa joins the New York City office. They complement more than 520 attorneys and staff firmwide.
Since opening offices in Philadelphia and New York City in 2018 and 2019 respectively, Armstrong Teasdale has been focused on driving growth on the East Coast, under the leadership of Managing Partner David Braswell and Partner and Leader – Eastern U.S. Richard Scheff.
“We have some incredibly talented attorneys at the firm and we’re glad to have Jason and Pete among our skilled partners on the East Coast,” said Scheff. “We are focused on our people, aligned with the firm’s strategic goals, and are always looking for talented attorneys and staff to join the firm.”

For new buildings, Massa seamlessly manages the transition from developer to unit owner control. He acts as general counsel for and represents sellers, purchasers and commercial lenders in various real estate transactions. He also has experience negotiating commercial leases, construction and AIA contracts, license agreements and other agreements for owners and tenants. Outside of his real estate practice, Massa also represents banks in commercial lending transactions.
