The three lawyers join a roster of more than 370 attorneys across Armstrong Teasdale’s 14 offices internationally.
“We are fortunate to have grown our London office quite significantly over the past year and are proud of the robust, skilled and diverse team we bring to bear for clients, both in terms of practice diversity and background of our lawyers,” said Partner and Leader – Europe Daniel O’Connell. “Eniga, Nick and Cameron will be instrumental in advancing our corporate, commercial and capital markets practices, and I am confident in their ability to enhance our cross-border and international work in their respective disciplines.”
de Montfort is a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice with nearly two decades of experience advising on private acquisitions and disposals, carve-outs, private equity transactions and advisory mandates. She has experience across a variety of sectors and geographies, with a particular focus on multijurisdictional M&A and French-speaking jurisdictions. Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, de Montfort was at a leading London law firm known for advising clients in the U.K. and internationally on premium corporate transactions. She focused on leading private cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, working in both English and French.
Heap is a corporate finance partner who advises clients on a broad array of corporate transactions, with particular focus on equity capital markets. He offers counseling on initial public offerings (IPOs), fundraisings and takeovers, as well as private mergers and acquisitions. Heap’s clients include listed companies, investment banks and brokers. He is particularly skilled in the energy, natural resources, life sciences and health care sectors. His work for clients within those sectors includes advising them on their IPOs, secondary fundraisings, corporate or asset acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations and public takeover bids and defences. Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Heap served as a legal director in the London office of a leading international law firm.
