Armstrong Teasdale Attorneys Named Among 2022 Colorado Super Lawyers® Rising Stars
Armstrong Teasdale Partners Alec Harris and Douglas Marsh and Associate Michelle Thom have been recognized as 2022 Rising Stars by Colorado Super Lawyers®. Armstrong Teasdale boasts more than 640 lawyers and staff in offices across the U.S. and U.K., with a team of more than 40 lawyers and professionals in Denver alone.
The Rising Stars list consists of the state’s top young attorneys. Candidates must be 40 years old or younger, or have practiced for 10 years or less.
Harris focuses primarily on complex commercial, regulatory and trademark litigation, and was recognized by Super Lawyers® for General Litigation. He defends and prosecutes a wide variety of claims for his clients and has extensive experience handling disputed business acquisitions, class action lawsuits and litigation in highly regulated environments. His background in economics, finance and administrative law helps him address his clients’ business and regulatory needs.
Marsh, who was recognized for Business Litigation, focuses on complex commercial litigation and appeals. He has litigated cases across the country in state and federal court at both the trial and appellate levels, and has unique experience in the telecommunications industry as well as in bankruptcy court proceedings. In the telecom space, he has handled a number of matters rising from violations of state and federal tariffs, and in numerous instances secured favorable outcomes for his clients through settlement, summary judgment, trial and appeal. He also has significant trial experience defending and pursuing high-stakes consumer protection claims.
Thom, who was recognized for Business & Corporate, is a skilled corporate attorney. She regularly serves as outside counsel to businesses on a broad spectrum of legal matters ensuring that legal risks are minimized. Her background in property management and real estate provides her with personal insight into the contrast between business needs and legal controls, which allows her to advance creative solutions for her clients.
