Armstrong Teasdale Elects Three Partners to Executive Committee
Armstrong Teasdale proudly announces the election of three partners to the firm’s Executive Committee, which functions as the governing board of the firm. Partners Martha N. Hereford and Richard L. Scheff have each been elected to serve on the firm’s Executive Committee for three-year and one-year terms respectively. Partner Karrie J. Clinkinbeard has been re-elected for a three-year term.
Clinkinbeard, managing attorney of the firm’s Kansas City office, is an experienced litigator with substantial trial experience across the Midwest including Oklahoma, Texas and Nebraska. A Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, Clinkinbeard focuses her practice on fire, explosion and electrocution litigation, toxic torts and catastrophic incidents, product liability, contract disputes, personal injury and life, health and disability matters. Her numerous successes include her role as co-lead counsel in a furnace explosion case that generated the largest 2014 defense verdict in Missouri.
Hereford is a member of the firm’s Corporate Services practice group and provides immigration and naturalization services to businesses, families and individuals. She has an extensive background in providing all types of business immigration services for national and international corporations in a wide variety of industries, including agriculture, engineering, information technology, scientific research, finance, insurance, manufacturing, energy, higher education, health care and architecture. Her clients include multinational, publicly traded and closely held corporations, Fortune 500, as well as small to mid-sized companies.
Scheff is a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group and leads the execution of strategic growth for the firm on the East Coast. A nationally recognized trial lawyer and corporate adviser, Scheff primarily counsels clients in government and corporate investigations with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, medical device and financial services industries. He has successfully represented numerous corporations, institutions, boards and senior executives in proceedings in state and federal enforcement matters.
