Armstrong Teasdale Grows with Two New Associates
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of two lateral associates to its St. Louis office: David VanVliet and Benjamin Musholt.
A member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, David focuses on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications in the chemical and biotechnological arts. He works with in-house counsel and investors in a large range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, polymers, biotechnology, vaccines, material science, solar energy, steel, lubricating oils, ceramics, LEDs, printer toners and semiconductors.
David earned his J.D. from Charlotte School of Law, Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, M.S. from the University of Southern California, and B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
A member of the Financial and Real Estate practice group, Ben practices transactional law with a focus on real estate. He counsels in the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of commercial property. In regards to development of property, Ben guides in such matters as rezoning, subdivision indentures, condominium law and formation of special tax districts.
Ben earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and B.S., cum laude, from the University of Missouri. He is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
