Armstrong Teasdale Promotes Fraser Mitchell, Scott Hilton to Partner in London
Armstrong Teasdale announces the promotion of Fraser Mitchell and Scott Hilton to Partner effective 1 June 2022.
Mitchell joined the firm’s London office in October 2021 as a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. He has experience acting in a range of complex cross-border and multijurisdictional disputes for a variety of clients including individuals, trusts, companies and funds as both claimant and defendant.
Mitchell is often instructed in cases where fraud, bribery, conspiracy or breach of fiduciary duty are alleged. He regularly acts in insolvency litigation and shareholders’ disputes, and has extensive experience in obtaining and resisting interim applications often at short notice. He also has prior experience handling investigations on behalf of companies, individuals and state entities. He has advocacy experience and has appeared many times as both as sole counsel and as junior up to the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal.

Hilton joined the firm in January 2022 as a member of the firm’s U.K. real estate practice with significant experience in a broad range of commercial property transactions across the key asset classes. He has particular experience in large, complex development transactions in which he has advised on site assembly and strategic land acquisitions, including the use of special purpose vehicle and joint venture structures.
Hilton regularly handles all matters relating to the acquisition, disposal and management of freehold and leasehold property, secured lending projects and landlord and tenant transactions. He is experienced in acting for U.K. housebuilders, large developers, institutional investors, corporate occupiers, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and a Premier League football club.
