Associates Join Armstrong Teasdale in St. Louis, Las Vegas

Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Litigation Associate Katie Doherty to the firm’s St. Louis office and Corporate Services Associate Aariel Williams to the Las Vegas office. They join a roster of more than 370 attorneys across Armstrong Teasdale’s 15 offices internationally.

Doherty is skilled at representing clients in a variety of disputes both at trial and in mediation, as well as negotiating settlements, researching and drafting motions and memoranda, negotiating with opposing counsel, defending client interests in depositions and cross-examination, investigating claims, and managing trial dockets to ensure swift disposition of cases and preservation of defenses. Her experience includes asbestos, diacetyl, earplug, and talc litigation as well as contract disputes and premises liability defense. Katie also performs a significant amount of pro bono work in both Missouri and Illinois.

Focusing on cannabis and hemp law, Williams supports firm clients in this industry with all aspects of their business, from licensure and regulatory oversight to operations and financing. She is experienced at conducting research and analysis on a variety of matters, including cannabis regulations and voting laws, as well as drafting legal memoranda on topics including cannabis product tests, lab accreditation and license renewals.
