Denver Litigation Partner Meshach Rhoades Selected for Prestigious German Marshall Fellowship
Denver litigation partner Meshach Rhoades is currently jet-setting the globe after being selected as one of 76 luminaries in 39 countries for the German Marshall Fellowship, which aims to strengthen transatlantic cooperation. More than 700 emerging global leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society applied for the prestigious honor, and only 15 were selected from the U.S.
Fellows engage in six months of work to increase their understanding of transatlantic relations before taking part in 24 days of policy immersion overseas in the spirit of the Marshall Plan. Meshach is currently abroad meeting with government and business leaders in Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Bulgaria and France. This includes the Portuguese and German Parliament and members of the executive cabinet, NATO, and the EU council in Brussels. She is also meeting with Ambassador Sherman and several other CEOs based in Lisbon, among others.
And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, Meshach just received the University of Colorado’s Kalpana Chawla Award, which recognizes outstanding career achievement, as well as significant contributions to the community and/or the University, within 15 years of graduation from CU.
