Eric Creizman Named a Trailblazer by The American Lawyer
Eric Creizman, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation practice group, has been named a Northeast Trailblazer by The American Lawyer magazine. The inaugural list appears as a special supplement to the May 2021 issue of the magazine.
Honorees from a range of practice areas were selected as agents of change who have moved the needle in the legal industry. Trailblazers featured in the supplement come from Maine, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.
One of the most sought-after trials lawyers in New York, Creizman focuses his practice on complex white-collar and securities enforcement defense. He has served as lead counsel in some of the most complex, high-stakes and high-profile white-collar representations in recent years, trying many cases to verdict. He is often called upon to provide representation and strategic counsel in criminal and regulatory matters relating to securities, accounting, investments, real estate transactions, environmental violations, health care, insurance, money laundering, digital currency, construction, unions and political activities.
A feature appears on page 14 of the supplement, where Creizman explains how being a contrarian has benefited his practice and emphasizes the importance of making a personal investment in each representation:
“When a client retains me, I take very seriously what is at stake not only for them, but also their family. I never allow myself to ‘phone it in’ in any case I take on. I will focus deeply on potential legal and factual defenses, creative motions practice, and, if necessary, substantial trial preparation. I genuinely care about getting the most favorable result possible for them.”
