Flack, Quinn Named Among Illinois’ Leading Lawyers℠
Armstrong Teasdale is proud to announce that Partners Donald Flack and Untress Quinn have been named 2021 Top Metro East Area Lawyers by Leading Lawyers℠. The annual list, compiled by Law Bulletin Media, is the only peer-recommended resource of distinguished lawyers in Illinois.
Leading Lawyers surveys lawyers, asking them which of their peers they would consider top lawyers in a given geographic region or practice area. Based upon survey nominations and approval by Leading Lawyers’ Advisory Board, the top lawyers are nominated and eligible for membership in Leading Lawyers. Less than 5% of all lawyers licensed in Illinois have received the distinction of Leading Lawyer.
Flack is a former Judge in Madison County, Illinois, and an accomplished trial attorney. In his practice, he primarily focuses on catastrophic events litigation, including professional negligence and product liability, class action matters and mass torts. Flack also litigates business disputes, as well as employment and labor-related matters in Illinois. He has argued appellate matters in state and federal courts across the country and co-authored briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court. Further, Flack has experience with complex business litigation and governmental affairs. Throughout his career, he has handled cases in more than 20 venues across 10 different states. While on the bench, Flack presided over dozens of jury and bench trials.
Quinn is a seasoned trial lawyer, focusing his practice on the defense of medical malpractice and other catastrophic loss lawsuits. He has defended multiple complex litigation cases in both state and federal courts involving civil rights, product liability, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. His defense of high-stakes litigation matters in both Illinois and Missouri has included matters involving mental health/suicide, neurological, obstetrical, neonatal, pediatric, cardiothoracic, gastroenterological and other traumatic injuries and losses. He leverages his experience as a registered nurse, along with experience in both direct patient care and health care administration, to skillfully counsel his clients through difficult health care-related matters. Quinn also has specific experience defending medical professionals in matters alleging federal Section 1983 violations.
