Four Armstrong Teasdale Attorneys Named to Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Fellows, Pathfinder Programs
Armstrong Teasdale Partner Ramona Palmer-Eason and Associates Ebonie Davis, Amy Pauli and Ida Shafaie have been selected for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Fellows and Pathfinder Programs for 2021. Palmer-Eason was named a Fellow, and Davis, Pauli and Shafaie were named Pathfinders.
The Fellows Program is designed for diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys at LCLD member organizations to provide them with professional and personal development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities and access to LCLD members (managing partners and general counsel). The Pathfinder Program is designed to connect high-potential, early-career attorneys from preeminent organizations for a six- to seven-month professional development series that focuses on foundational leadership skills, professional networking and relationship building skills, and career development strategies.
With 20 years of experience as in-house counsel for a major international retailer, Palmer-Eason is a seasoned legal practitioner with extensive experience in employment and labor, employee benefits and executive compensation, litigation and compliance. Her experience spans the intersection of the law and human resources, which enables her to skillfully advocate for her clients in employment-related disputes.
A member of the firm’s Financial and Real Estate services practice group, Davis primarily represents clients in real estate transactions involving a wide variety of financing methods. She is adept at reviewing leases, contract agreements and loan documents with a critical eye, and also has in-depth experience handling transactions that involve bond financing and low-income housing tax credit financing.
Pauli has extensive experience working on cases at all stages of litigation but focuses on dispositive motions practice and appeals. She has handled a wide range of disputes for her clients, including Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions, state wage and hour class actions, consumer class actions, fraud and disputed business acquisitions.
Shafaie is a trial attorney and member of the Employment and Labor practice who counsels clients regarding complex civil rights claims and related state and local anti-discrimination laws. In addition to her employment practice, she counsels on education matters, working with primary, secondary, and post-secondary institutions. Shafaie has worked on matters involving public record laws as well as claims arising under Title IX.
