George von Stamwitz Named to “Who’s Who in Energy” for 2015
George von Stamwitz, Armstrong Teasdale partner and leader of the firm’s Environmental practice, has been named to “Who’s Who in Energy 2015,” by the American City Business Journals (ACBJ). The list of leading U.S. energy players appeared in a special section of eight major metropolitan ACBJ publications including the November 26, 2014, issue of the St. Louis Business Journal.
Nearly 900 people were selected for this recognition by a combination of internal research, industry outreach and an open nomination process. This is the fourth year for the listing, which covers the following metropolitan markets: Austin, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Pittsburgh, San Antonio and St. Louis.
In his law practice, von Stamwitz handles waste, air, water, and Superfund and energy issues in local, state and federal jurisdictions. He also serves as president of AT Environmental, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Armstrong Teasdale that handles environmental risk transfer transactions.
Earning his J.D., cum laude, from Saint Louis University and B.A., summa cum laude, from Tufts University, von Stamwitz is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
