Jordan Lee Joins Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation Practice Group
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of attorney Jordan C. Lee to the firm’s Litigation practice group. Lee, whose practice focuses primarily on employment litigation and counseling, and civil litigation, is one of over 50 attorneys and staff who have joined the firm in 2020.
Lee’s extensive employment law experience includes matters involving sex, age, disability and race discrimination, wage and hour law, noncompete and trade secrets, and arbitration agreements and proceedings. She also has experience advising clients on employee handbooks and policies, and compliance at the state and federal levels. Her background includes developing curriculum and teaching Employment and Employment Discrimination Law courses at her alma mater, the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
Her depth of knowledge extends to commercial litigation, including civil hearings and jury trials. While at the federal court, she assisted in the adjudication of a wide variety of civil and criminal cases. Further, Lee has experience counseling clients regarding corporate compliance and commercial contracts.
“Across the country, the talent at Armstrong Teasdale is truly top notch and I’m proud to join the team,” said Lee. “I have been so impressed with firm leadership and the ease of transition in a remote working environment. The bonus for me personally is that the firm values work/life balance. Now more than ever, that adaptive culture is critical.”
Prior to joining the firm, Lee was in private practice, where she focused on counseling employers regarding compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, drafting commercial agreements, and reviewing various policies and business contracts. Before that, she served as a law clerk to Judge Dee Benson in U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and spent several years as an associate attorney at a large national law firm.
Lee will work from Armstrong Teasdale’s Boston and Salt Lake City offices. She is licensed to practice law in Utah and California.
