Lateral Litigation Associate Joins Armstrong Teasdale’s Kansas City Office
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Kathryn Bascom to its Litigation practice group. Her previous experience includes years as a clerk for Judge Charles H. McKenzie of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, from which she gained significant civil trial exposure, practical skills pertinent to all phases of litigation, and substantial research and writing experience.
Based in the firm’s Kansas City office, Bascom provides representation in civil litigation areas including insurance coverage and defense and products liability.
Prior to joining the firm, Bascom was an associate at a Kansas City civil litigation firm. Prior to that, she clerked for Judge Charles H. McKenzie of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri and interned for U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert E. Larsen of the Western District of Missouri and for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Missouri.
Bascom earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law and B.S. in Comprehensive Science from Villanova University. She is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
