National Law Journal Names Alicia Ashcraft a Cannabis Law Trailblazer
Alicia Ashcraft, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s Corporate Services practice group, has been named a Cannabis Law Trailblazer by the National Law Journal.
Ashcraft has focused her practice since 2013 on counseling marijuana and hemp businesses through the regulatory process and emerging legal issues. She has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in this and other highly regulated industries, including gaming, liquor and transportation services. She advises businesses through all phases of operation – from startups, through financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, land use and licensing.
A co-founder of the State Bar of Nevada’s Cannabis Law Section, Alicia serves as the section’s first chair and is also a lifetime member of the International Cannabis Bar Association. In addition, she is a frequent speaker and lecturer on topics affecting businesses in the marijuana industry and for other professionals representing such businesses.
