Partner Eric Trelz Joins Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation Practice

Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States and in China, proudly announces the addition of partner Eric M. Trelz to its Litigation practice group. Based in the firm’s St. Louis office, Trelz provides practical, sophisticated advice for legal problems unique to employment and commercial litigation disputes. 

In his employment practice, Trelz has litigated virtually every form of workplace claim in multiple venues throughout the country, including federal and state trial and appellate courts, and administrative agencies. With a thorough knowledge of employment law and trial practice and a deep understanding of the economic realities of litigation, he strives to ensure his services exceed the client’s expectations. Trelz provides clients with valuable day-to-day preventative employment counseling along with review and drafting of employment-related agreements, employee handbooks and policies. 

In addition to his employment work, Trelz has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation. He serves clients from a wide range of industries, including banking and financial services, manufacturing, wholesale and retail entities, transportation, health care, automotive, food services, entertainment, and construction. 

Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Trelz was in private practice at another St. Louis firm for 20 years. He earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University and B.A. from Central Methodist University. Trelz is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. His court admissions include the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Eighth Circuits, the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Missouri.
